About ApexIndex

A diagnostic instrument for organisations considering automation, workflow redesign, or operational memory systems.

What it is

ApexIndex is a structured operational diagnostic. Before organisations build systems, automate workflows, or introduce new tooling, they need to understand where operational knowledge is being lost and what is actually worth addressing first. That is what ApexIndex does.

The diagnostic covers four dimensions: operational memory, workflow accountability, tool and system value, and automation readiness. The output is a structured brief — not a product sale.

The methodology

The ApexIndex methodology is built on a principle: most operational problems are memory problems. Organisations lose context when people leave, when decisions are not recorded, when knowledge is held informally. Diagnose before you build — it is how you avoid building the wrong thing.

Jack built ApexIndex from operational experience — observing organisations repeatedly build tools before understanding their own processes. The methodology is grounded in that pattern: diagnosis first, systems second.
